Feeding technology

The Easyfeeder Top FA solids feeding system with push-off container is designed for feeding the digester with renewable raw materials, such as grass and maize silage or similar biomass. However, more challenging materials such as all types of manure are also processed without any problems.
With this Easyfeeder, the solid material is fed into the trough using a loader.
The substrate is pressed into the milling drums of the milling attachment via the push-off trough’s sliding carriage. There, the directly driven rotary grinders feed the solid feedstock into the horizontal screw conveyor. The horizontal screw conveyor transports the material further on to the inclined screw conveyor. The inclined screw transports the solid to the feed screw which feeds the separated material into the digester.

The focus was already on minimizing energy consumption and wear during the development of the feeding technology, which has been tried and tested in practice for many years. The Easyfeeder Top FA with trough has a simple and robust design. This makes solid matter feeding particularly user- and maintenance-friendly. It is controlled directly on the device, via an optional stand-alone control cabinet or via the biogas plant’s higher-level control system, depending on the project. The user only has to program the pause and operating times. As an alternative to control via time, control via weight is also possible. All drives are equipped with adjustable load monitoring. The interval control with automatic reversing function in the event of overload ensures smooth and trouble-free operation.
